Every time I think that I’m starting to settle into something which vaguely resembles a normal life,

some massively surreal opportunity comes to bite me on the bum. In this case, that Rick Astley/Debbie Gibson/etc concert. Which might not even be happening. Look, I'm trying to be realistic here. But it's three months away and SISTIC has got NOTHING on it. A pretty reasonable cause for worry, isn't it?
