Well just so you know.. (yes, you, my imaginary reader!)
I got my tickets to Class 95 Fm's 'Retrolicious' event. Why? Rick Astley, durr.
Though, as you should be quite familiar with, everything comes at a cost.
And this one cost me $90. Aaaaaand my lifetime vacuuming the house.
Well, whatever, I've always wanted to get rickroll'd live so, why the fuck not, eh?
Belle's going with me(because we are the only 14 year-olds in Singapore who would bother parting with $90 to see Rick Astley live) and we keep (actually, it's mostly me..) discussing the possible worst-case scenarios.
Dude, what if he gets on the plane.. and it crashes? WHAT IF HE DIES??!?
- Me.
Man... What if my tickets don't arrive? What if my internet was lagging like shit and SISTIC just said "Oh, I'm sorry, ma'am, but we didn't get any bookings from an 'Isabelle Ong'."
- Belle
Well obviously my imagination is a bit more... violent. I can't help it though.
We want to meet him. Belle and I have been contemplating on starting a thread on the official forum asking for a meet & greet :)
Another thing I've been pondering on is my blog title.
The World.. From an asshat's point-of-view.
Well, I don't talk about the world much, do I?
I should re-name it to..
A fourteen year old girl's fantasies of a man 30 years senior.
Aw, that would get a LOT of attention.
There's been a lot of flooding going on everywhere. The news is depressing, as always. Which is why I don't watch T.V as much as I used to (which was before I started giving a shit about current events).
School has been alright. Though I've really started to lose hope on science.. The guy (teacher) pisses me off a bit sometimes. It's nothing personal, I don't hate him or his mole or anything.. It's just the way he nags and nags and how he NEVER FAILS TO COMPARE us to his form class.
Math has been pretty shit. As expected. I record my lessons now and playing them back, I notice how much of attention I pay during lessons. NONE. The teacher could be talking about Quadratic Formula or the Pythagoras Theorem and I'd be humming along to this. Occasionally I'd chat with the guy sitting next to me about first-person shooters and Chuck Norris.
Well, I better go. Don't want to miss dinner.
